My Reviews and Ratings:
Ok.... Where do I start on this one. You might have noticed that there were two names. The 1st one refers to the original PC game "Mashiro Iro Symphony" while the 2nd title refers to the PSP version "Mashiro Iro Symphony - Mutsu no Hana". The PC version is the original and has all the H-scenes intact with the original 4 Heroines while the PSP version removes all H-scenes and has 2 extra heroines. Oh, and the PC version and PSP version has a different OP movie and song but basically they're the same.
The story itself is quite interesting but there's one problem.... THE STORY IS FREAKING SLOW!! The common route takes so freaking long that it makes you frustrated. Although the route stories itself was interesting.
The music is not very memorable though. Most of them are slow and gives you a feel of 'everyday life'. The only one song that I could say was real good was the OP song of the PSP version "Yumemiru mama Koi shite" by Hashimoto Miyuki. Those that think the name rings a bell; yeah she's the same artist that sang for famous anime like Shuffle!, Soul Link and School Days. The song for the PC version wasn't bad as well. I also uploaded the song in the Music section so check it out later.
BTW, the 1st movie is the PC version while the 2nd is the PSP version
The graphic is good and I like the way they put the special effects to express the characters' expression and emotions. It's subtle and nicely done. The voice actors and actresses are well picked as well although I think Sana(one of the sub-characters in the PC version but is a heroine in the PSP) needs a better voice.....
Story: 6/10 (The common route was too long. Need to shorten it. Seriously)
Graphic: 8/10 (Better than most but still not the best)
Music: 7/10 (OP song was good but most of the BGM wasn't very memorable)
Overall: 7/10
Overall, not very good but not very bad. Another easy one that doesn't have lots of choices. Since its just average, I suggest you play it in your free-time when you have nothing else better to play.

Itoshii Kanojo no Mamorikata
Genre: Comedy, Romance, School-Life, Action
Summary: Yuuto enrolled in a military school in order to fulfill a childhood promise with Yui. But when he met her again, she demanded to know why he came there. He realized that her smile had disappeared. This is because their class is ridiculed for being weaker than other classes. Their classroom is not well furnished and his bed is more like a table. Their teacher announces that there will be a battle in which the rewards will be a proper desk and chairs… and an air conditioner as well! Yuuto decides to help their class win this battle and bring a smile back to Yui’s face.
My Review and Rating:
This is a very interesting VN. Like the summary said, it about the Main Character(MC) enrolling into a military school. In this school, there's basically 3 classes, the Guard Class, Military Class and Science Class and in this military school, strength and results is everything. And shockingly, MC discovered that the Guard Class, AKA the class he enrolled in, is absurdly weak compared to the others. So the MC tries his best as the leader of the class to lead his class to victory. He uses many tactics like information warfare and Guerrilla tactics to fight. The comedy is also not too over the top and keeps the story interesting. One interesting fact about this VN is that besides the 4 heroines that were shown in the OP, the sub characters are actually sub-heroines!! Meaning this VN has 8 heroines!(4 main and 4 sub) each sub-heroine is paired with a main heroine and are accessible through each of the main heroine's route by picking specific choices in their route. Personally, I think that the sub-heroines' stories are a bit too short but well, I'm not the maker so I can't say anything about that. If I were to say the negative points, then it would probably be that the story is quite mild and there were very little action. It focuses more on the classes itself and not on the battles. If they had more battles it would have been way better; a bit of a disappointment there.
The BGM is well made and is well fit to the situations of the VN. I'm especially impressed with OP movie. It's so well made and not only that, the song ROCKS! I'll be uploading the full song and a Youtube link to the OP of the VN be sure to check it out!
Story: 7/10 (if it had more battles it would have been better)
Graphics: 9/10 (Nothing special to take note but it was one of the better ones of those that I know of)
Music: 9/10 (Good and fits the situations well. Especially impressed with the movie.)
Overall: 8.3/10
The graphic is good and the music was very good but I hope this company would work on their story. Overall, it's an above average game that I would suggest to beginners. The choices are easy and the story is light-hearted.

Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai!

While they have many other friends, this group of seven is a close-knit, inseparable group. They even have a secret base where they meet.
With the new semester, they welcome two girls into their group and shortly after things begin to change...
My Review and Rating:
Story wise, it is quite good. There was a pretty long prologue to introduce all the main characters and the important characters. The comedy might be a little exaggerated at times but is still ok. The fighting nevertheless is overly exaggerated but personally I find it entertaining; It's better than lining up paragraphs and paragraphs of technical stuff in martial arts when amateur wouldn't even understand half of it.
Each character stands out on its own and has a unique character trait, which is good. Even the main character, who's treatment in VNs are almost always neglected is part of the story. Each heroines' character is also unique and the choice of seiyuu was superb. Although, I think the main heroine, Momoyo is a bit too...... over the top. In my opinion, it was a mistake to make her the main one, but well I guess nothing is perfect.
Music is merely so-so but there are a few memorable ones like those in the fight scenes. However, the special effects are overdone. I do understand that special effects are very important but they overdone the special effects on the normal scenes and neglected the crucial and most important sound effects for the fight scenes. That is probably the worst possible mistake in this VN.
Story: 8/10
Graphics: 7/10 (Minus points for the special effects)
Music: 7/10 (Average but there were a few memorable ones)
Overall: 7.5/10
Overall, it is a good game, though I can't say it is the best but I would say it would be one of the better ones in the market.

Snow Sakura
Genre : Comedy, Romance , School-Life
Summary : My name is Tachibana Yuuji, a regular student with no particular plans for the future - until my parents left for Hawaii on a business trip last fall, leaving me in the care of my uncle in the wintry countryside of Hokkaido.
Small-town life on Japan's northern island didn't have time to get dull, as from the moment I got there I was reunited with my cousin and childhood friend Saki. She's pretty demanding, but when I'm hanging out with her and her school friends I don't mind; as I get close to them I feel like I'm finding meaning in life that I didn't know I was looking for.
Legend says there is a flower that blooms here in the depth of winter... as the twilight deepens and a snowflake melts in the palm of my hand, I stand with a beautiful girl by my side. Will we be able to uncover its mystery in this fleeting moment?
My Review and rating:
The story is decent and smooth flowing. Although I think it does need a bit of spicing up, it is still a good game to start out. The choices are a bit vague at times but nonetheless it has very little choices anyway you can do trial and error for it ^^;. The graphics are so-so; nothing in particular that is good or bad just decent. The music was light in nature just like the series. It could have been done better though.
Story : 5/10
Graphics : 6/10
Music 5/10
Overall : 5/10
This VN might not be the best but it is beginner friendly. So even though it's not the best out there but it is recommended for those new to the VN world to start here.
